Accessibility

Our commitment

We build Escanor to be usable with a keyboard, screen readers and zoom, with readable contrast in light and dark themes, and with labels on every control. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA and the Indian standard IS 17802, and test new screens against them.

Conformance

Standard: WCAG 2.1 level AA, and IS 17802 Parts 1 and 2, which align with it.

Evaluated: 8 October 2026, by Escanor Labs.

Method: automated axe-core checks of every WCAG 2.1 A and AA rule on each page, at desktop (1366 px) and phone (390 px) widths, in the dark theme and, where a page has one, the light theme. Plus manual keyboard testing of the booking scheduler, grievance form, product tour and sign-in form: tab order, visible focus, labels and error announcements.

Result: partially conforms. No failures remain on the pages tested: during this evaluation we fixed text contrast, form error announcements, keyboard support in the time picker and focus handling. It stays partial until the limitations below are closed.

Known limitations

• Signed-in app: the dashboard, onboarding and settings are not yet covered by this report. We will evaluate and fix them by 31 December 2026.
• Screen readers: we have not yet tested with NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack. We will by 31 December 2026.
• Other companies' pages: signing in with Google or GitHub, and paying through Razorpay, happen on their pages, which this report does not cover.
